President's Message

I am honored to hold the position of President of the Choctaw Chamber of Commerce for the year 2007. I have been involved in business management and customer service for more than 30 years. As a business owner I have found that success is achieved when the needs of customers are carefully analyzed and steps are taken to deliver the best service possible. It is this principal that will drive and motivate our actions in the development of  programs and direction of policies in the upcoming year.

It is our goal:

  • To retain our current membership and add member services.
  • To increase economic development by working closely with city, county and state personnel in order to attract new business and industry to Choctaw.
  • To develop new and to expand existing programs for the success and growth of our members businesses.

I would like to encourage you as a renewing member to:

  • Involve yourself in Chamber activities; involvement adds value to your membership and creates opportunities for you to market your company to other members.
  • Communicate with other members at Chamber functions; Business After Hours is the perfect opportunity to promote your product or services.
  • Participate in Chamber committees; we all benefit by sharing knowledge and experience.
  • Attend the monthly business meeting, which is open to all members and guests.

I would like to invite any prospective member to:

  • Contact the Chamber office to receive a membership packet.
  • Contact our Membership Chair, Laura Ramer, through the Chamber office.

In closing, I invite our members to submit ideas and suggestions on how to successfully grow our Chamber and how the Chamber in turn can better serve your business.

Sincerely,

Denna Lay
President, Choctaw Chamber of Commerce
